What If…? Season 3, Ep. 4 & 5 Breakdown and Review!

Hello, Marvel fans and comic enthusiasts! We’re back with a double feature breakdown of What If…? Season 3, Episodes 4 and 5: “What If Howard the Duck Got Hitched?” and “What If the Emergence Destroyed the Earth?”

This festive season brought us two wildly different episodes. Episode 4 leaned into the quirky chaos we love about What If…? with Darcy Lewis and Howard the Duck as unlikely parents of a cosmic-powered egg. From an Elvis-themed Vegas wedding to a Frost Giant ski resort, this episode was as bizarre as it was entertaining. It also introduced us to Birdie, voiced by Natasha Lyonne, adding a feathered twist to the MCU!

Episode 5 took a darker turn, imagining a dystopian Earth shattered by Tiamut’s emergence. Riri Williams, aka Ironheart, stepped up as the last hope in this high-stakes story, donning a powerful new hybrid suit made from White Vision’s remains. Packed with emotion and action, this episode reminded us why we’re so excited for the upcoming Ironheart series.
