Hello, nerdy friends! This week’s Creature Commandos Episode 5, titled “The Iron Pot,” had so much going on it left me reeling in the best way. From cringe-worthy classroom antics to emotional betrayals, this episode showcased everything we love about James Gunn’s chaotic DC masterpiece.

Our story begins with Flag and Eric Frankenstein spying on a suspicious Professor McPherson, only to uncover she’s actually none other than the shape-shifting villain Clayface! Meanwhile, Task Force M is sent to Pistan with a deadly mission, which takes a tragic turn with the loss of Alexi and a brutal battle that leaves the team scattered and broken.
Eric’s emotional arc shone in this episode, as we saw his unlikely bond with a kind-hearted gypsy woman, only for him to destroy that connection in his obsessive pursuit of the Bride. Eric’s actions were both heartbreaking and chilling—proof that sometimes the line between hero and monster is razor-thin.
